An Astrometry Data Pipeline Processing System has been developed and deployed at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI). This system is responsible for producing the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Astrometry Data Products that were previously produced by the Astrometry and Engineering Data Processing (AEDP) System at Goddard Spaceflight Center. HST Astrometry processing at AEDP was terminated in early 1998. This paper will discuss the Astrometry Data Pipeline in detail from its planning thru its operational stages. Specific areas of discussion will include the need for an STScI Astrometry Data Pipeline; the design of the Pipeline Applications and the advantages of using the OPUS Pipeline Architecture for the underlying infrastructure; the implementation of the pipeline with an emphasis on code reuse; and the benefits of the produced products over the previous AEDP produced products.
