I give a brief overview of the Laboratory for Computational Astrophysics (LCA)-a joint effort of the NCSA and Astronomy Department of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The LCA develops and disseminates theoretical simulation software for astrophysical fluid dynamics and cosmological simulations. One code in particular-ZEUS-is in use worldwide. I describe this and other codes available from the LCA, as well as codes currently under development. Plans for building an integrated, web-based environment for cosmological simulations-The Computational Cosmology Observatory-are briefly described.
